Simon Toyne’s first book, Sanctus, was translated into 29 languages, and he is the author of seven other thrillers including the Solomon Creed and Laughton Rees series. He is also the presenter of Written In Blood on ITVX.
Abir Mukherjee is the best-selling author of the award-winning Wyndham & Banerjee series of crime novels. He is also the winner of the 2025 British Book Awards Thriller of the Year and he co-hosts the Red Hot Chilli Writers podcast. His latest book is called The Pinnacle.
Abir and Simon will be talking about their own books, the art of crime-writing and why people are so fascinated by crime. They are good friends so it will be a lively discussion.
