We provide structured opportunities for Friends, Benefactors, corporate sponsors and volunteers to support our festival.
Generous support from Sponsors, Benefactors and Friends helps Cuckfield Bookfest host brilliant writers and new talents every year. Thank you!
As a community interest group, we rely solely on donations and ticket sales. Your support, however big or small, is incredibly valuable to help secure the long-term future of the event.

Friend
Your support as a Friend is so important to Bookfest.
For £25 (individual) or £40 (couple) per year, you can enjoy these benefits:
✅ Priority booking to Bookfest sessions (excluding Literary Quiz and Ockenden Manor Supper)
✅ Invitation to an exclusive Bookfest supporters’ reception
✅ A glass of wine (or alternative) during Bookfest
You have the option to select automatic annual renewal of your membership. If you only want to sign up for membership for this calendar year you can select ‘One Time’ instead of ‘Yearly’.

Benefactor
As a Benefactor, your support is essential to the long-term future of Cuckfield Bookfest. As well as supporting us financially, you are an integral part of the community, and we warmly welcome your suggestions and ideas.
For £100 (individual) or £160 (couple) per year, you can join the Bookfest community, support the Festival and enjoy these benefits:
✅ Priority booking to Bookfest sessions (excluding Literary Quiz)
✅ Priority booking to the Ockenden Manor Supper
✅ Reserved seating at Bookfest sessions
✅ Invitation to an exclusive Bookfest supporters’ reception
✅ Acknowledgement of your support in the printed programme
✅ Acknowledgement of your support on the Bookfest website
✅ 10% off all meals, drinks and accommodation at Ockenden Manor for the duration of your membership

Cuckfield Bookfest brings together authors and lovers of literature from all walks of life and genres and there are many ways you can help support this wonderful event including a non-cash contribution of goods or a service.

Become a Volunteer
Have you thought about being a volunteer at the Festival? There are many people who work tirelessly to make the festival so successful each year.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers but can always do with more, particularly if you are able to help with erecting posters and banners just before the festival and with moving chairs just beforehand.

As a Friend (£25/year), you’ll enjoy priority booking, an invitation to our exclusive supporters’ reception, and a complimentary glass of wine during the Festival. It’s a brilliant way to get closer to Bookfest and make sure you never miss out on the events you love.
As a Benefactor (£100/year), you receive everything included in the Friend membership, plus a range of additional benefits that reflect your deeper investment in the Festival’s future. These include priority booking to the prestigious Ockenden Manor Supper, reserved seating at sessions, acknowledgement of your support in both our printed programme and website, and an exclusive 10% discount on meals, drinks and accommodation at Ockenden Manor throughout the year.
