Where to begin? Simon Brett can’t remember a time when he didn’t want to write. He still does, and he still wants to do it better. In the meantime, he has written his 100th book and the range of his writing is incredibly wide. He began as a radio and television producer (The News Headlines, Just a Minute, I’m Sorry I haven’t a Clue) and when working on Lord Peter Wimsey, he began to think about creating an actor detective – and the first Charles Paris novel was born. He has written anthologies, humorous books, more radio and television series (After Henry) and he has also been very involved with writers’ organisations such as the Crime Writers’ Association, the Society of Authors and the Royal Literary Fund.
With experience in radio, television, theatre and literature, his stories will be hugely entertaining and informative.
